These terms and conditions apply to Omega Plus social media competitions, giveaways and promotions, unless otherwise stated in the relevant competition post.
By entering an Omega Plus competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The promoter is Omega Innovations Limited, a division of The New Zealand King Salmon Co. Limited and distributor of Omega Plus pet food.

The competition opening and closing dates will be stated in the relevant competition post.
Entries received after the stated closing date and time will not be accepted.
All times are New Zealand time, unless otherwise stated.

The competition is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over, unless otherwise stated in the relevant competition post.
Employees, contractors and immediate family members of Omega Plus, Omega Innovations Limited, The New Zealand King Salmon Co. Limited, and any agencies or suppliers directly associated with the competition are not eligible to enter.
Omega Plus reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and may disqualify any entrant who does not meet these requirements.

To enter, participants must follow the entry instructions outlined in the relevant competition post.
Only one entry per person is permitted, unless otherwise stated in the competition post.
Entries must be submitted through the relevant social media platform and must comply with that platform’s terms of use and community guidelines.
Entries that are incomplete, illegible, offensive, inappropriate, fraudulent, generated by automated means, or submitted using fake or duplicate accounts may be deemed invalid.
No purchase is necessary to enter, unless otherwise stated and permitted by law.

Omega Plus competitions are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, or any other social media platform on which the competition may appear.
By entering, participants release the relevant social media platform from any responsibility or liability in connection with the competition.
Entrants should be aware of scam accounts. Omega Plus will only contact winners from an official Omega Plus account and will never ask winners to provide credit card details, banking passwords, or payment to claim a prize.

The prize will be described in the relevant competition post.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash, unless otherwise stated.
Any costs or expenses not specifically included in the prize description are the responsibility of the winner.
Omega Plus reserves the right to substitute the prize, or part of the prize, with another prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond Omega Plus’ reasonable control.

Unless otherwise stated in the competition post, the winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the competition period.
The winner selection method, number of winners and any applicable judging criteria will be outlined in the relevant competition post where required.
Omega Plus’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The winner will be contacted through the social media platform used to enter the competition, or by another contact method provided by the entrant.
The winner must respond within 72 hours of being contacted, unless otherwise stated in the competition post.
If the winner does not respond within the required timeframe, is unable to accept the prize, or is found to be ineligible, Omega Plus reserves the right to redraw or reselect another winner.

Omega Plus will make reasonable efforts to arrange prize delivery within a reasonable timeframe after the winner has confirmed their details.
Omega Plus is not responsible for any lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected or undeliverable prizes where this is due to incorrect information provided by the winner or circumstances outside Omega Plus’ reasonable control.

By entering, participants agree to comply with these terms and conditions, the relevant competition post, and the rules of the social media platform used to enter.
Entrants must not use the competition to post or share content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, misleading, discriminatory, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate.
Omega Plus reserves the right to remove or disqualify any entry that it considers, in its reasonable opinion, breaches these terms and conditions or could negatively affect Omega Plus, its brands, or other entrants.

By entering, participants consent to Omega Plus contacting them in relation to the competition.
If an entrant is selected as a winner, they agree that Omega Plus may use their name, social media handle and general location for the purpose of announcing the winner and administering the competition.
Any further use of winner content, images, videos, testimonials or personal stories for promotional purposes will be subject to the winner’s consent, unless already clearly stated as a condition of entry in the relevant competition post.

Personal information collected as part of the competition will be used for the purpose of administering the competition, contacting winners, verifying eligibility and arranging prize fulfilment.
Omega Plus will handle personal information in accordance with its privacy policy and applicable New Zealand privacy laws.
Personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties for unrelated marketing purposes. Information may be shared with suppliers or delivery partners where necessary to fulfil the prize.
Entrants may request access to, or correction of, their personal information by contacting Omega Plus.

To the extent permitted by law, Omega Plus is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, claim, cost or expense suffered or incurred by any entrant or winner in connection with the competition or use of the prize.
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits any rights entrants may have under applicable consumer laws.

Omega Plus is not responsible for technical failures, platform outages, delays, errors, lost entries, or any other issue that may affect entry into the competition or winner notification.
If a competition is affected by technical issues, fraud, unauthorised intervention or any other cause beyond Omega Plus’ reasonable control, Omega Plus may modify, suspend, cancel or redraw the competition where necessary.

Omega Plus reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the competition if circumstances arise that are beyond its reasonable control or if the competition cannot be run as originally planned.
Any changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
